| Notebook Cover You will need... 3/4" yard (68.5cm) fabric Matching sewing thread Pins Scissors Fabric paint pens Three-ring binder Buttons, beads, appliqués, or other decorative trims | | | 1 | Open the binder and measure the width and height. Add 11 3/4" (29.8cm) to the width and 11/4" (3.2cm) to the height. Cut two pieces of fabric with these measurements. |  |  | |

| 2 | With right sides together, pin-baste the two pieces of fabric. Stitch around the outside edge with a seam allowance of 5/8" (15mm), pivoting at corners, and leaving a 4" (10cm) opening on one short side. |  |  | |

| 3 | Trim corners diagonally. Turn right side out through the opening; press. Slip stitch the opening closed. |  |  | |
